On Tuesday, November 24, 2015, Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara presented the Dudley Observatory with a $20,000 grant to help kickstart our project to build a new observatory! Detailed plans for the new observatory are still in the works, but Dudley Observatory and miSci plan to construct a building to house the 1893 Pruyn telescope, and have the telescope up and running for public viewing in the near future. A capital campaign to raise money for the project would likely begin sometime early in 2016. Check back often for updates on the project!
