Lunar Eclipse 2019

Cancelled: Super Blood Wolf Moon Eclipse Party at miSci!

Due to the snow storm and bitter cold temperatures, we have unfortunately decided to cancel the lunar eclipse event.

You can watch the event streamed live via the Exploratorium’s website: https://www.exploratorium.edu/visit/calendar/live-lunar-eclipse-coverage-january-2019

Or on TimeandDate.com: https://www.timeanddate.com/live/

Due to the government shutdown, we expect minimal media coverage from NASA.

Please plan to join us on a Thursday night for night-sky viewing through the Dudley Observatory’s 14inch telescope! We also have a special event on Thursday, February 7th, entitled “I See Stars”. Students from Mohonasen High School will present a spectacular video compilation of NASA imagery, space sounds, and original music. This 30-minute planetarium presentation is FREE with museum admission. Showings will start at 6:30 and 7:15pm.
