Astro Labs
Dudley at Siena offers 45 minute hands-on classes that cover different fields of astronomy. These classes can be booked as outreaches. Our current offerings are listed out in detail at the bottom of our Educators and Schools page here: Astro Labs
Astro Labs can be booked by filling out a reservation form and emailing it to info@DudleyObservatory.org. A representative will reach out to you to finalize your program booking. All bookings are based on the availability of staff and are made on a first come first serve basis.
Pricing: Workshops are offered at a rate of $150 per hour
PLEASE NOTE: Each outreach program (including consecutive occurrences of the same program) requires set up time. Times listed in program descriptions are for program length only and do not include set up time.
Camps
Astronomy Summer Camp at Siena College
Dudley at Siena hosts summer camps at Siena College. In 2024, we look forward to offering camps again for 6-8th grade students.
In this year's Planet Hopping in the Solar System and Beyond! camp, students will design their own spacecraft, learn what rocks can tell us about the formation of the planets, and even explore planets outside the Solar System. No prior astronomy knowledge is required.
