The Great North American Solar Eclipse 2024: The Science, the History, and Why You Should Get Your Butt to Totality (If Possible)

Solar eclipses have fascinated humans for thousands of years. Myths and rituals were created to explain the Sun’s disappearance and bring it back again. It’s a striking event that people not only see, but experience. Join Dr. Mindy Townsend, astronomer with Dudley at Siena, for a discussion of the history, science, and safe viewing of the 2024 solar eclipse.
